Welcome to the historic National Capital Hebrew Cemetery. We have proudly served the Greater Washington Jewish Community since 1910. We welcome you to join us in our work of preserving and maintaining these sacred grounds, not only for the present but for future generations as well.

Our Mission

To make sure the cemetery is maintained in the highest condition possible, with regular grass cutting and landscaping. 

To maintain all gravesites, regardless of whether the burying organization is in existence or not. 

To put the cemetery on the best short and long term financial footing possible. 

To increase the awareness of the cemetery throughout the community.
